Product Description: The Full Race filter , developed on the track , NOT on a dyno but in real life , bikes with Data loggers for the ultimate performance , with new materials and new design, protection is on the same level as the filters above , only for a shorter time. Make sure you start every race weekend with a well oiled filter.

More information from MWR's founder regarding these filters can be read below:

"I have quite a lot of details about the filter for the 1199
Because 90% of all bikes over here in Holland / Belgium are installed with these filters and I think 75% of all these bikes are trackbikes I recieve a lot of feedback.
It's even so that some dealers install our filters in brand new bikes .

Main problem of the 1199 is the fueling , due to the construction of the airbox/airfilter the fueling is quite a lot off balance , about 8/9% difference between front & rear cylinder .
This means you have also 8/9% difference in power between both cylinders.
Maybe this is also the problem why engine crack on the track ( I don't know for sure) fact is that bikes with our filter in have not this problem.

Due to the splitter plate the incoming air will be spread over the complete airbox so the rear cylinder will get almost the same amount of air as the front cylinder.
The difference in fueling after installing the MWR HE or R filter is about 1/2% max. , the engine is very nice in balance and runs sooo much better at low revs and high revs.

The problem is the adjustment , you can't do the fuel adjustments of each cylinder separate with the std. ECU or the Corse ECU . There are some people who can hack the computer but I'm not sure yet if it is possible after hacking the ECU.

To get the right adjustments you need a PCV / RapidBike or the high tech ECUs from Microtec / Motec etc. where you can adjust each cylinder separate.

Attached is a powercurve from a Belgium guy , this bike had the open termis and std 181 RWHP , with the installation of a RapidBike and the MWR R filter 194 . Very simple upgrades with great results.

The other problem is the noise on tracks with strict noise limits , we are here in Holland & Belgium top leaders concerning this problem , the limits are so strict and not to compare with other countries so it's for me also a challenge to get these bikes on the track without noise problems.
The HE filter (for al models) is developed to reduce the inlet noise .

Currently the 1199 is std NOT allowed the the Belgium / Holland and UK tracks because of too much noise . With the MWR HE filter installed and std. exhaust the 1199 is below the 95db.
Even motorcycle magazines call me if they can have a filter otherwise they can't do a test on the track.

The filters are made from a aluminum frame , fire resist foam and pre-oil with biodegradable MWR filter oil what does not burn.
The filters are delivered to the costumers pre-oiled"
